The Warren Heritage Society announced that the opening reception for its new exhibit “Play Ball! A History of Little League and Baseball in Warren County” will now take place on July 23, after the organization decided to shift the event to prevent a scheduling conflict with the 10U Little League State Tournament’s opening ceremony.
Exhibit Opens to the Public
The exhibit itself will open to the public on July 15 at 101 Chester Street in Front Royal, Virginia, showcasing a curated collection of photographs, memorabilia and artifacts that trace the region’s baseball heritage, including items from Front Royal Little League and broader Warren County history.
Tournament play for the 10U State Tournament is slated to begin on July 17, with the championship game scheduled for later in the week. Coverage of all tournament games and the final will be broadcast on Fox Sports Radio 1450, streamed via the The River 95.3 app, and posted on TheRiver953.com.
By moving the reception, the Society hopes to accommodate families and fans who want to attend both the exhibit and the tournament without overlap, ensuring a smoother experience for participants and visitors alike.
