Inter Miami CF has secured the services of Ecuadorian centre‑back Fricio Caicedo on loan from FC Moravia FCM, with the agreement running through the 2027 MLS season and containing an option for the club to make the transfer permanent.
At 18 years old, Caicedo arrives as a physically imposing defender known for his aerial strength and tackling ability. He developed in the youth system of LDU Quito, where he honed his defensive fundamentals before moving to FC Moravia FCM.
Internationally, Caicedo has already earned senior caps for Ecuador, debuting as a substitute in a 2‑1 victory over Saudi Arabia. His recent performances have highlighted his readiness for higher‑profile competition.

‘I am eager to train with the best, to share the pitch with Lionel Messi and help Inter Miami fight for titles,’ Caicedo said in the club’s announcement.
