Chicago Fire FC has unveiled a special 2026 commemorative jersey that showcases the flags of every nation taking part in this summer’s international soccer tournament, turning the kit into a collector’s item for fans.
Auction details and how to bid
The auction opened on July 14 and will close at the end of halftime during the Fire’s next match on July 16. Interested supporters can place bids by visiting 26.jersey.givesmart.com or by texting “26JERSEY” to 76278.
Each jersey will be autographed by the player who wears it, and winners will be notified during the second half of the July 16 contest against Vancouver Whitecaps FC, which kicks off at 7:30 p.m. CT.
The match will be streamed globally on Apple TV and carried locally on WLS 890 AM in English, as well as on TUDN Chicago 106.7‑HD2 and the Uforia by TREBEL app in Spanish.
Supporting youth through sport
Proceeds from the jersey auction benefit the Chicago Fire Foundation, an organization that uses soccer‑based programs to foster academic and social development in elementary school students. The foundation serves more than 1,600 young people each year and has contributed over $10 million to the community.
Its curriculum blends skill training with social‑emotional learning, teaching values such as teamwork, resilience and empathy while encouraging healthy lifestyles.
Beyond the auction, Chicago Fire FC remains a cornerstone of Major League Soccer, boasting six domestic trophies and a growing fan base that spans the United States and beyond.
