Skyridge Falcons Gear Up for 2026 Season Opener with Community Fundraiser

A scrimmage, silent auction, and fanfare set for August 7 at Lehi’s Skyridge High School

A season‑opening celebration for the Falcons

The Skyridge High School football team will kick off the 2026 season with a scrimmage and fundraiser on August 7. Gates open at 5:30 p.m., and tickets are $10 each or $40 for a family of four or more.

Coach Justin Hemm said the squad has trained hard and is eager to see the new‑look offense in action. “We’ve put in a lot of work and we’re excited about where we’re headed,” he added.

The event will feature a silent auction whose proceeds directly support the Falcon football program. Items up for bid include a Kneaders gift basket, a Les Schwab roadside kit, and assorted BYU and Utah memorabilia.

Fans can enjoy food trucks, a bake sale, and live performances from the cheer squad, drill team, and dance company while browsing new orange and gray merchandise that will be available for purchase.

Skyridge youth football players will be introduced on the field, and senior athletes from football, drill, dance and cheer will be on hand for autograph sessions, giving the community a chance to meet its hometown heroes.

Preseason polls rank the Falcons second in Class 6A, a testament to the program’s steady growth under Coach Hemm’s leadership. Updates and behind‑the‑scenes content can be followed on Instagram @Skyridgefb, with full coverage in the Lehi Free Press and online at lehifreepress.com.
