Charles Mueller will debut on August 12 as the Owls open against FIU

Florida Atlantic University announced the addition of Charles Mueller to its women's soccer coaching staff, appointing the seasoned mentor as an assistant coach ahead of the upcoming season.

Mueller, who most recently served as an assistant goalkeeping director for One Knoxville SC in the USL League One, brings a deep reservoir of experience from both professional and collegiate environments.

His career also includes stints as an assistant and goalkeeper coach for One Knox FC Women, as well as roles with MLS Next U19 and U17 squads, and previous collegiate positions at Carson‑Newman University and Lincoln Memorial University.

A Strategic Boost for the Owls

Head Coach Patrick Baker expressed enthusiasm about Mueller's arrival, highlighting the coach's ability to develop talent and strengthen the program's defensive foundations.

Baker noted that Mueller's background in goalkeeping and player development aligns perfectly with the team's ambitions as it prepares for its season opener.

Mueller's debut is slated for August 12, when the Owls host FIU in a highly anticipated match that will showcase the new coaching duo in action.

The university community looks forward to seeing how Mueller's expertise will translate into on‑field performance and player growth throughout the season.
