A Global Hockey Celebration
The Florida Panthers announced the eighth edition of the Amerigol LATAM Cup, a tournament that brings together teams from Latin America, the Caribbean, South Asia and other non‑traditional hockey markets. The event runs from August 1 through 9 at two venues in South Florida.
Sixty‑eight squads and more than 1,500 players will represent countries such as Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Egypt, Israel, Puerto Rico and the Philippines. Organizers have split the competition into two tiers, with the first segment scheduled for August 1‑4 and the second half extending to August 9.
The second half will showcase the Men’s Division I, Women’s Division I, Men’s Division II and the U12 Legacy bracket, while an inaugural Skills Competition and a Sled Hockey Showcase will take place on the weekend of August 5‑6. An All‑Star Game is slated for next Wednesday at the IceDen from 11 a.m. to 1:45 p.m.
All games are open to the public, with tickets sold through AmerigolHockey.com and live streaming available free of charge on AmerigolHockeyTV. The tournament enjoys backing from the Florida Panthers, the National Hockey League, the NHL Players’ Association and the Industry Growth Fund.
