Rahkeem Smith, Evan Haynes, Debron Gatling and converted cornerback Dalen Penson are also vying for playing time, while freshmen Darnell Collins, Kentrell Davis, J.J. Winston and Jeffar Jean‑Noel will add depth.
The quarterback position will be anchored by Alberto Mendoza, whose arrival has sparked talk of chemistry with the new receiving corps.
