Camp Highlights
Former New England Patriots quarterback Mac Jones returned to his Florida roots this weekend, hosting a youth football camp at Fort Family Park in Jacksonville.
The event brought together two of the area’s most touted high‑school prospects, Xander Edwards and Asher Ghioto, who are entering their junior year at Bolles School and are ranked among the nation’s top Class of 2028 recruits.
Jones, who began his college career at Alabama before being drafted in the first round by the Patriots in 2021, has since played for the Jacksonville Jaguars and the San Francisco 49ers, most recently signing as a free agent after a stint with the Jaguars in 2024.
Organizers said the camp was designed to give young players a chance to learn from a Super Bowl‑winning quarterback while also raising awareness of local talent pipelines.
