Princeton Tigers Earn National Festival Honors
USA Hockey announced the athletes who will attend the 2026 Women’s National Festival, set for August 2‑9 in Lake Placid, New York.
Four current Princeton student‑athletes — Uma Corniea, Megan Healy, Gabby Kim and Rosie Klein — received invitations, joining the national pool as the organization finalizes its U.S. Collegiate Women’s Select Team.
Series Against Canada
The selected U.S. team will face Canada in a three‑game series from August 12‑15 in Richmond, British Columbia. Shelly Picard, a veteran coach, will serve as an assistant for the American side.
Training Camp Invitees
Five members of Princeton’s incoming freshman class have been selected for the USA Hockey Girls National Under‑19 Training Camp. The newcomers — Caroline Averill, Maggie Averill, Chloe Brinson, Lia Cericola and Christina Scalese — will train with elite prospects ahead of future international events.
The festival and subsequent series represent a significant milestone for Princeton’s women’s hockey program, highlighting the university’s growing influence on the national stage.
