NASCAR is set to make a landmark comeback at North Wilkesboro Speedway, a venue that last hosted a Cup Series event in 1996. The historic half‑mile track, nestled in the rolling hills of North Carolina, will welcome the series for a highly anticipated doubleheader weekend in July.
The centerpiece of the weekend, the Window World 450, is scheduled for July 19 and will feature a 37‑car field. Among the confirmed entries is veteran Chad Finchum, who will drive for Garage 66, adding a familiar face to the competitive mix.
A day earlier, the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series will stage the FaithFest 250 on July 18. The race will be remembered for last year’s dramatic finish, where Chandler Smith took the checkered flag after a fierce battle.
