iHeartRadio Secures Audio Partnership with Beach Football League
iHeartRadio has been named the Official Audio and Radio Partner of the Beach Football League (BFL) for the 2026 season and beyond. The agreement spans broadcast radio, digital audio, podcasting, social media and live‑event support, with the goal of amplifying the league’s profile, driving fan engagement and delivering immersive entertainment experiences.
Founded by former NFL linebacker and Super Bowl champion Tully Banta‑Cain, the BFL blends traditional tackle football with a beachside festival atmosphere. The concept features live music, celebrity appearances, youth camps and other immersive activations that turn each match into a weekend destination.
A Festival of Football and Sound
The partnership is already live in California, most recently at the Santa Cruz Beach Classic held May 16‑17. The event showcased appearances by Marshawn Lynch and Deshaun Foster, a youth football camp, a drone show and a halftime performance by Bay Area artist Goapele alongside Golden State Warriors DJ D Sharp.
Coming up on May 23, the Fiesta Hermosa Sunset Showdown will bring NFL legends, live DJs, youth programming and a halftime set from hip‑hop group The Pharcyde to the same coastal stage.
Looking ahead, the BFL plans to expand to additional destination events, including a Labor Day weekend stop in New England, a Miami appearance during Art Basel week and a Santa Monica showcase tied to the 2027 Los Angeles Super Bowl week.
National Expansion Plans
Under the deal, iHeartRadio branding and promotional support will be woven into BFL radio campaigns, live‑event activations, digital advertising, social content and dedicated entertainment programming, ensuring a seamless integration of audio and visual experiences.
Both parties see the collaboration as a natural fit, with iHeartRadio’s extensive reach complementing the league’s festival‑style format, and the BFL’s unique blend of sport and culture poised to attract new audiences across the country.
