Sioux Falls to Host In‑Person Media Day
The Missouri Valley Football Conference will gather coaches, players and media on July 14 in Sioux Falls for a live, in‑person Media Day, marking the conference’s first such event held in the city.
The broadcast will be carried on Sioux Falls Live, Midwest Sports Plus and the regional TV outlet KSFL, beginning at 9 a.m. local time, giving fans across the Midwest a chance to hear directly from the teams.
Interviews will be conducted by Marcus Traxler and Matt Zimmer, who will sit down with head coaches and standout players from all nine member schools, offering insight into preseason expectations and key storylines.
Sponsorship and Production Support
The event is sponsored by First International Bank & Trust, a regional financial institution that has partnered with the conference to highlight community engagement and youth sports development.
Production of the live show will be overseen by Forum Communications, the parent company of the broadcasting platforms, ensuring a professional broadcast quality that reflects the conference’s growing profile.
Last year’s Media Day was the first in‑person gathering in Sioux Falls and was deemed a success, drawing a sizable audience and positive feedback from participants and viewers alike.
Conference officials say the 2024 edition aims to build on that momentum, using the live format to deepen connections with fans, media partners and local stakeholders throughout the region.
With the combination of on‑site interviews, a multi‑platform broadcast and the backing of sponsors such as First International Bank & Trust, the Missouri Valley Football Conference hopes to set a new standard for how the league engages with its growing fan base.
