Travis Green, the current head coach of the Ottawa Senators, was recently inducted into the British Columbia Hockey Hall of Fame, a tribute to his accomplished career as a National Hockey League player.
Over 14 seasons, he appeared in 970 NHL games and scored 193 goals, representing the New York Islanders, the Anaheim Mighty Ducks and the Toronto Maple Leafs.
When presented with the Hall of Fame honor, Green expressed humility and gratitude, acknowledging the support of teammates, coaches and fans throughout his journey.
In his role as coach, Green has led the Senators to playoff appearances in 2025 and 2026, marking the most successful stretch of his coaching tenure to date.
This fall, the team will open its season with Green’s 500th regular‑season game as a head coach, a milestone that underscores his steady growth from player to mentor.
With a career record of 230 wins, 216 losses and 53 overtime losses, Green’s blend of experience and strategic insight continues to shape the Senators’ competitive edge.
