Aerial Visions for a Cause
Big Sky artist and photographer Kene Sperry will open his latest exhibition on July 15 at Lone Mountain Ranch, a historic venue set against the sweeping landscapes of Montana.
The show highlights Sperry’s signature black‑and‑white aerial perspectives, capturing everything from the rugged peaks of Yellowstone to the bustling streets of New York City and the forests of British Columbia.
In a generous gesture, Sperry will donate 33 percent of all sales to Bozeman Baseball, the local organization that runs youth baseball programs for children aged six through sixteen in Gallatin Valley.
Attendees will receive a complimentary signed book that chronicles Sperry’s extensive portfolio of the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem, offering a tangible reminder of the landscapes he has surveyed from the sky.
Beyond the Montana showcase, the exhibition will preview new aerial work from across the continent and beyond, underscoring the artist’s global reach while keeping the focus on community impact.
The display will remain open throughout Tuesday and Wednesday, giving visitors ample opportunity to experience the photographs in the ranch’s barn, a space that itself echoes the open‑air spirit of the images on display.
Sperry, who has devoted the past decade to fine‑art photography after a lifelong commitment to artistic creation, describes his work as a means of uniting viewers through shared visual experiences of nature and place.
