Mike Young, who spent 17 seasons at the helm of Wofford’s program, returns as the head coach of Virginia Tech. Kevin Giltner, a Wofford alumnus who scored 954 career points before transitioning to coaching, now leads the Terriers as head coach. Giltner joined Young’s staff in 2014‑15, later moving with him to Virginia Tech in 2019, and has since built his own reputation as a strategic mind and recruiter.
