Berkeley Springs High School’s boys soccer program is entering a pivotal moment as it welcomes Jamie Hiles as its new head coach, marking the start of a fresh tactical era for the team.
The first official practice is slated for Monday, August 3, running from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on the Warm Springs Middle School Soccer Field, where players will gather for their initial training session under the new staff.
Building the Foundation
During that opening session, Coach Hiles and his assistants will lay out the philosophical and technical groundwork that will shape the 2026 campaign, emphasizing possession‑based play and disciplined defensive structures.
The community has responded positively, with players eager to embrace the coach’s vision and parents hopeful that the new direction will translate into competitive performances on the regional stage.
