SIUE men's soccer head coach Cale Wassermann has unveiled the 2026 season schedule, laying out a demanding slate that blends early‑season road trips with a robust home presence.
A packed preseason
The Cougars will open with two preseason contests before entering a seven‑game non‑conference run that includes a home exhibition against Iowa Western on August 10.
The regular season begins with a three‑game road stretch that takes the team to Kansas City, East Lansing and Ann Arbor, where they will face Michigan State and Michigan.
Home opener and eight‑game home stretch
The first home matchup arrives on September 6 with the Bronze Boot rivalry against Saint Louis, kicking off a series of eight home games at Ralph Korte Stadium.
Conference schedule and travel
The conference schedule includes home matches against Southern Indiana and Western Illinois, and the Cougars will also travel to Eastern Illinois, Incarnate Word and Houston Christian for away games.
The season will culminate at the OVC Championship, which will be held at Lindenwood beginning November 8.
