UTRGV has partnered with Paciolan to launch a new ticketing and marketing system that will handle all single‑game football tickets for the upcoming season. Starting the Monday of each home‑game week, tickets go on sale at 8 a.m., and any unsold seats become available again on Friday at the same time if the visiting team has not claimed them.
Fans who wish to attend multiple games can purchase up to six tickets per game through their Paciolan account, ensuring a streamlined checkout process and secure entry via NFC scanning; screenshots of tickets will not be accepted at the gate.
Ticket Availability and Stadium Growth
The south end zone of Robert & Janet Vackar Stadium is being expanded by roughly 1,500 seats, pushing the Wingstop Student Section to 3,250 seats and raising the venue’s total capacity to 13,498. This growth reflects the university’s ambition to accommodate a larger fan base while preserving the intimate atmosphere of the stadium.
Pricing for single‑game tickets remains unchanged from 2025, allowing supporters to enjoy the same rates despite the added seating. The university also announced that season tickets for 2026 sold out on July 1, with more than 7,600 tickets claimed — up from about 7,000 the previous year.
UTRGV’s football program continues to gain national attention, ranking 11th in the FCS for total attendance with 87,774 fans across the season and 15th for average attendance at 12,539 per game. The team also placed sixth in the nation for percentage of capacity filled, reaching 104.49% of the stadium’s new limit.
