Northern Michigan University Announces 2026 Fall Elite ID Camp
Northern Michigan University’s men’s soccer program will host a 2026 Fall Elite ID Camp on September 12‑13, 2026 at the Superior Dome in Marquette, Michigan. The two‑day event is designed for high school and college‑aged boys who want to train at an elite level and showcase their abilities to NMU’s coaching staff.
Head coach Alex Fatovic, who has led the Wildcats for several seasons, personally invited prospects for the 2026 recruiting class and beyond to attend. He emphasized that the camp will focus on possession‑based soccer, a style the program has built its identity around.
Camp Structure and Activities
The camp will feature a series of technical sessions, a dedicated recruiting discussion, and a full‑scale game that pits attendees against each other in a competitive environment. Current 2026 roster members — seven of whom have previously attended NMU ID camps — will be on hand to provide insight and mentorship.
Participants will also have the opportunity to watch a live NMU versus Jamestown match, giving them a glimpse of the team’s dynamics and game atmosphere.
The program is open to players in the graduating classes of 2027, 2028 and 2029, and is positioned as a pathway for those aspiring to compete at the highest collegiate level.
Logistics and Cost
Registration for the camp is currently open, with a deadline set one week before the event. The total fee is $150, which covers all sessions, the game and associated costs. A non‑refundable processing fee of $25 applies to any cancellations made after registration.
Attendees are asked to bring soccer boots, water bottles, shin guards, snacks and a change of shirt, as food will not be provided on site. The $150 fee includes all required fees, while the $25 processing fee is separate and non‑refundable.
