The latest Blue Bell/Texas Sports Writers Association all‑state baseball teams have been released, and the Coastal Bend region is well represented. Several high school standouts from the area have earned spots on the Class 3A and Class 2A squads, underscoring the competitive depth of local programs.
London Pirates Lead the Selections
The London Pirates topped the Coastal Bend list with five players earning all‑state honors in Class 3A. Aiden Salinas was named a first‑team shortstop, while JJ Villegas earned a second‑team nod at second base. Christian Olivares secured a third‑team spot as a catcher, and Dax Williams and Cristian Villegas received honorable mentions at first base and outfield, respectively.
Other schools also saw their athletes recognized. Derek Vasquez from Falfurrias earned a third‑team selection at shortstop, and Andre Cisneros from the same town received honorable mention at first base. From Bishop, Aidan Arreola‑Andalon was noted for his performance at second base, while Joseph Barrios from Taft earned a similar honorable mention.
