GLVC Sets Stage for 14th Annual Football Kickoff
The Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) has unveiled the schedule for its 14th‑annual Football Kickoff, a day‑long showcase that will take place on the campus of McKendree University on July 31. The event brings together the conference’s nine football programs in a rotating series of stations designed to generate fresh content for the league’s growing social media audience.
Each participating school will be represented by its head coach and two student‑athletes, who will move through a series of ten‑minute stations that include press conferences, interactive games and a media‑day‑style photo shoot. The format is intended to highlight the personalities and preparations of each program as the new season approaches.
GLVC Commissioner Jim Naumovich will be on hand to oversee the activities and interact with the media. The day will culminate in a formal group photo of all players and coaches, followed by a shared lunch that will wrap up the festivities.
