All‑State Baseball Honors
The Blue Bell/Texas Sports Writers Association has unveiled its Class 3A all‑state baseball team, recognizing the top talent from across Texas for the 2026 season.
Will McIntire of Boyd was selected as the Player of the Year, capping a standout campaign that saw him dominate both the mound and the batter’s box. His coach, Bradley McIntire, was similarly honored as Coach of the Year, underscoring the program’s dual excellence.
The first‑team roster spans every defensive position, from pitchers like Jake Ivey, Lane Beacham and Brendan Fitzgerald to catchers Stephen Webber and Gerrit Boschma, and infield standouts such as Wade McConnell at first base and Keelan Clary at second. Outfielders Hagyn Barbee, Owen Moore and Dylan Stallones round out the squad, while Huck Schoenvogel earned the designation as the league’s top designated hitter.
Additional first‑team members include Ryan Aguilar and Walker Anderson as relief pitchers, while Aiden Salinas from Corpus Christi London was chosen at shortstop and Reid Ballard from Wall took the hot corner at third base. The outfield also features Colton Patton, Colton Strickland, Wyatt Wallace and Colt Copeland, with Wyatt Jost slated as the third‑team designated hitter.
The second and third teams showcase depth, featuring pitchers AJ Ramirez, Colton Walker, CJ McNeill and Colt Bullard, catchers Carter Mara and Cason Martinez, and infielders Jacob Braden, JJ Villegas, Mason Matt and Maddox McDonald. Outfielders such as Diego Villegas, Tyler LeBouf and Elijah Webber, along with designated hitters like Gael Silva and Matthew Johnson, round out the honors.
The selections reflect a statewide spread, with honorees hailing from schools in Bryan, Boyd, Gunter, Huntington, Jourdanton, Franklin, Shallowater, Bushland, Corpus Christi, Wall, Grandview, Marion, Iowa Park, Paradise, Tatum, Troy, Comfort, Lyford, Raymondville, Nacogdoches, Lytle, Jacksboro, Blanco, New Diana, Falfurrias, Orangefield and Malakoff.
