The University of New Hampshire announced this week that Dennis Csensits will join the Wildcats' men's basketball program as an assistant coach, a move that underscores the school's commitment to strengthening its coaching staff.
A Proven Track Record
Csensits arrives after a distinguished tenure at Allentown Central Catholic High School, where he guided the team to a PIAA 4A state championship in 2021 and earned Coach of the Year honors that same season. Over his career he has collected nine District XI titles and was recognized as Coach of the Year again in 2014 and 2023.
From High School to the College Ranks
His coaching journey includes stints at Dickinson College, Colgate University, The Citadel, the U.S. Naval Academy and Randolph‑Macon College, giving him a broad perspective on player development and program building.
Csensits holds a B.S. in Accounting from DeSales University and an MBA from Mount St. Mary's University, and he previously served as Major Gift Officer and Director of Athletic Advancement at DeSales before returning to the sidelines.
Beyond the locker room, he has contributed to the NCAA College Basketball Academy as an instructor, sharing his insights with some of the nation's top prospects.
