Nashville SC Announces 2026 Golden Roots Soccer Series Presented by GEODIS

The youth-focused program blends soccer clinics, community events and a World Cup watch party as part of the Visit Music City Summer Kickoff

A Community-Driven Soccer Initiative

Nashville Soccer Club has unveiled the 2026 Golden Roots Soccer Series, a youth-focused program presented by GEODIS that aims to inspire and empower local students through the beautiful game.

The initiative will run weekly sessions that bring Nashville SC players onto the field alongside GEODIS volunteers, giving participants direct access to professional athletes and hands-on coaching.

More than 250 children between the ages of six and 18 from a network of local youth-serving organizations are slated to take part, reflecting the club’s commitment to inclusive community outreach.

Partnerships and Community Impact

Brandon Hill, Nashville SC Head of Community Engagement, said the series is about building lasting connections through soccer, noting that the program’s mission extends beyond the pitch to foster teamwork and confidence among the youngsters.

Laura Ritchey, President and CEO of GEODIS Americas, added that the partnership underscores GEODIS’s dedication to the Nashville community, highlighting the company’s broader corporate-social-responsibility goals.

The series will culminate on June 12 with a Community Match Day at Fair Park, where the youngsters will showcase what they have learned in front of families, friends and local supporters.

After the Golden Roots events, Nashville SC will host a live viewing party for the FIFA World Cup 26™ match between the United States and Paraguay, extending the excitement of the tournament to the local fan base.

The broader Visit Music City Summer Kickoff will span seven weeks of programming, featuring watch parties, concerts and family-friendly activities that celebrate the city’s vibrant culture.

The schedule will reach its climax on July 17 when Nashville SC returns to MLS play against Atlanta United FC, marking the final highlight of the summer’s soccer calendar.
