Harvard Women’s Ice Hockey Unveils 2026‑27 Schedule

Season opener set for October 16 as Crimson eyes Beanpot title defense

Harvard’s women’s ice hockey program has released its 2026‑27 schedule, a 30‑game lineup that kicks off on October 16.

The opening weekend features a home‑and‑home series against Holy Cross, with the first contest slated for October 17 at the Bright‑Landry Hockey Center, launching a five‑game stretch that also includes matchups versus St. Michael’s, New Hampshire, Clarkson and St. Lawrence.

Coaching Leadership

Under the direction of Head Coach Laura Bellamy, now in her fourth season, the team benefits from the steady hand of senior captain Zoe Boosamra, who will lead the squad for a second consecutive year.

The early portion of the schedule pits Harvard against a series of ECAC rivals, beginning with back‑to‑back conference weekends against Brown and Yale before moving on to Cornell and Colgate.

Beanpot Defense

The Crimson opens the defense of its 2026 Beanpot title on January 12 against Northeastern, with the 2027 semifinals scheduled for Boston College’s Conte Forum on January 19.

ECAC play will continue through February, culminating in quarterfinal games from February 26 to 28 and the championship round at Herb Brooks Arena in Lake Placid on March 5 and 6.

Season tickets covering all 16 home games, together with a parking pass, are available for $75, providing fans with a convenient way to follow the team throughout the campaign.

Harvard enters the season riding a 16‑15‑3 record from a year ago, a turnaround that featured the largest plus‑14 swing in Division I and a run to the ECAC quarterfinals, the Beanpot championship and the Friendship Four final in Northern Ireland.
