Middle Tennessee Returns to Paradise Jam
Middle Tennessee State University’s men’s basketball team is headed to the 2026 Paradise Jam in the U.S. Virgin Islands, where it will join a field of eight programs for a four‑day showcase of college hoops.
The tournament runs from November 20‑23, 2026, and kicks off with a matchup against Temple on November 20 at 11:30 a.m. Central Time, a meeting that will mark the first ever contest between the two schools.
This appearance represents the second time the Blue Raiders have competed in the Paradise Jam, the first having come in 2006 when they faced Alabama, Toledo and College of Charleston. It also marks the first tournament under head coach Nick McDevitt, who takes the reins of the program after a distinguished playing career.
Fan Packages and Upcoming Opponents
Fans interested in traveling to St. Thomas can purchase Paradise Jam Fan Packages that bundle tickets, accommodations and exclusive experiences. For those who prefer a more flexible approach, single‑day passes and full tournament tickets are also available, with the remainder of the non‑conference schedule to be announced in the coming weeks.
Potential opponents listed for the event include Indiana State, Stephen F. Austin, UT Martin, Southern Illinois, East Carolina and Utah Valley, though the exact pairings and game times will be released later.
The Blue Raiders will be looking to build on recent progress as they prepare for a demanding road trip that will test depth, conditioning and cohesion early in the season.
