West Texas A&M’s women’s golf program received a significant boost as head coach Meredith Jameson unveiled the addition of South African standout Holly Duddy to the 2026‑27 roster. Duddy arrives after a standout freshman season at Garden City Community College in Kansas, where she captured seven Top‑10 finishes and claimed victory in the Falcon Cup Classic. Her consistency translated into a runner‑up finish at the Jayhawk Conference Championships and a 21st‑place showing at the NJCAA Division I National Championships, underscoring her ability to compete on a national stage.
The South African native built her reputation on the local circuit, winning both the 2023 Ekurhuleni Open and the Waterstone College Club Championships. She also contested several high‑profile events, including the National Schools Invitational, the Central Gauteng Junior Open, and the Central Gauteng Holiday Summer Series, experiences that prepared her for the rigors of collegiate competition.
Duddy’s family roots stretch across continents. She is the daughter of Greg Duddy and Ashleigh Deall, and she shares her life with two younger sisters, Amy and Meg. The support of her parents and siblings has been a constant thread throughout her athletic journey, providing both stability and encouragement.
