Former University of Tennessee wide receiver Jayson Swain is set to become the Vol Network’s lead color analyst for Tennessee football radio beginning with the 2026 season, filling the vacancy left by Ramon Foster.

From Player to Analyst
Swain starred for the Vols from 2003 to 2006, capping his collegiate career as team captain, and after signing with the Chicago Bears in 2007 he transitioned into broadcasting.
During the 2025 season he contributed analysis on the “Big Orange Countdown” pre‑game show and co‑hosted the halftime and post‑game segments, while also serving as a sideline reporter for UT broadcasts.
Current Radio Presence
He now co‑hosts the “Josh and Swain” program on The Sports Animal, where his chemistry with longtime partner Josh Cox has made the show a staple of Knoxville sports talk.
