The Mexican men's national team is set to embark on a three‑match tour of the United States this fall, marking the 23rd edition of the MexTour, a staple of international soccer in the country. The series will pit Mexico against Colombia, Peru and Chile in front of capacity crowds, with matches scheduled in Baltimore, Harrison and Los Angeles.
Márquez Takes the Helm
The opening fixture on September 26 at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore will also serve as the head‑coaching debut of Mexican legend Rafael Márquez, who succeeds the former manager after a distinguished playing career.
Two weeks later, the team travels to New Jersey's Red Bull Arena in Harrison for a September 29 showdown with Peru, a match that promises a lively atmosphere in the heart of the Northeast corridor.
The tour concludes on October 6 at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, where Mexico will face Chile. The venue, known for its historic soccer events, is expected to draw a crowd of more than 50,000, continuing the tour's tradition of strong attendance.
A New Chapter for Mexican Soccer
Beyond the spectacle, the tour underscores the growing partnership between the Federación Mexicana de Fútbol and its commercial arm, Soccer United Marketing, which has helped cement the event's status as one of the most established soccer properties in the United States.
