The Idaho Steelheads have announced the addition of forward Nick Portz ahead of the 2026‑27 ECHL season, reinforcing their offensive depth after a promising rookie campaign.
Portz, 26, tallied 23 points — 11 goals and 12 assists — across 54 games with the Steelheads last year, a performance that included his first professional hat trick against the South Carolina Stingrays on March 25.
