The Iowa High School Baseball Coaches Association recently announced its Class 3A all‑district selections, and three senior players from Webster City earned spots on the prestigious list. Their inclusion reflects not only individual excellence but also the growing strength of the Lynx program.
Matthew Tesdahl led the pitching staff with a 7‑1 record, a 0.85 earned run average and 72 strikeouts, while also batting .370 with 39 runs batted in and 21 runs scored. His dual-threat performance anchored the team on both sides of the ball.
Braylon Dyvig contributed a .432 average, 35 runs, 27 RBI and seven doubles, complemented by a .930 fielding percentage and a 5‑1 record with an ERA under three and 42 strikeouts. His speed on the bases added a dynamic element to the lineup.
Jaxon Griffith topped the team with 32 stolen bases and 47 runs scored, while posting a .519 batting average that included three home runs, three triples and two doubles. His all‑around production helped the Lynx maintain a competitive edge throughout the season.
The Lynx finished as co‑North Central Conference champions with a 21‑10 record, a milestone that underscores the team's consistency and depth. The all‑district recognitions serve as a testament to the players' hard work and the program's upward trajectory.
