ESPN has rolled out a seven‑game kickoff schedule that will open the high school football season across the United States.

The slate showcases eight programs that appear in the USA TODAY Sports preseason Super 25 national rankings.

No. 18 Brentwood Academy (Tenn.) will meet No. 13 Baylor School (Tenn.) on Aug. 20 at 8 p.m. ET in Chattanooga, Tenn.

Battle Ground Academy (Tenn.) takes on St. Michael Catholic (Ala.) on Aug. 22 at 1:30 p.m. ET in Fairhope, Ala.

In Georgia, Gainesville will host No. 11 Buford on Aug. 22 at 5 p.m. ET, also in Buford, Ga.

Mid‑Season Highlights

St. Joseph Regional (N.J.) is slated to play No. 24 Mount Carmel (Ill.) on Aug. 28 at 7 p.m. ET in Chicago, Ill.

No. 3 Bishop Gorman (Nev.) will face Christopher Columbus (Fla.) on Aug. 29 at 2 p.m. ET in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

DeSoto (Texas) will meet No. 7 St. Thomas Aquinas (Fla.) on Aug. 29 at 6 p.m. ET, also in Fort Lauderdale.

Final Kickoff Showdown

No. 22 Chandler (Ariz.) will square off against No. 8 Basha (Ariz.) on Aug. 29 at 10:30 p.m. ET in Chandler, Ariz., closing the opening week.
