As the summer heat settles over Louisiana, the Sam Houston High School Broncos are gearing up for a promising campaign, bringing a blend of seasoned leadership and fresh talent to the field.
At the center of the buzz is Albert Simien, a standout prospect who has pledged to continue his football journey at Notre Dame. His commitment has sparked considerable excitement, drawing national media attention and raising the program's profile far beyond the borders of Southwest Louisiana.
Head coach Chad Davis has been busy reshaping the offense, announcing the addition of former Westlake quarterback Brody Anderson. In his junior season with the Rams, Anderson amassed 1,217 passing yards and eight touchdowns, while also contributing 567 rushing yards and 14 scores on the ground.
Complementing the backfield, Davis secured two tight ends — Dylan Toups from Oberlin and Clayton Powell from Saint Louis — to add depth and versatility to the attack.
