Park City Extreme Cup Returns for Its 23rd Edition
The 23rd edition of the Park City Extreme Cup has kicked off, turning the Wasatch Back into a bustling hub of youth soccer through Saturday.
Organizers say the tournament ranks among the largest youth soccer gatherings in Utah, featuring more than 460 teams that have traveled from eight different states.
Teams, Ages and Venues
Players range from 9 to 19 years old, competing on fields scattered across Park City, Oakley and Heber, with matches scheduled at iconic sites such as City Park, Ecker Hill, Matt Knoop Park and several local schools.
Traffic and Parking Guidance
Local officials have warned drivers to brace for heavier traffic and have posted a dedicated traffic and parking page that offers real‑time updates and detailed maps.
Beyond the competition, the event serves as a showcase for emerging talent and a community celebration that draws thousands of spectators each day.
