Tristan McKee to Make NASCAR Truck Series Debut at Richmond

16‑year‑old champion joins Spire Motorsports for a limited schedule in 2025 and 2026

At just 16 years old, Tristan McKee is set to make his NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series debut on August 14, 2025, at Richmond Raceway.

A Milestone Moment for a Young Prodigy

He will climb into the No. 77 Chevrolet Silverado RST fielded by Spire Motorsports, the team that signed him as the inaugural member of its Ascent Driver Development Program.

The limited schedule calls for McKee to contest five events this year, with additional dates already confirmed for New Hampshire, Bristol, Phoenix and Martinsville in 2026.

McKee arrives after a breakout 2024 season in which he captured the CUBE 3 Architecture TA2 Series championship, becoming the youngest driver ever to win that title, and added a victory at Watkins Glen earlier in 2025.

Team co‑owner Jeff Dickerson said the youngster has earned the opportunity and is expected to make the most of it, noting his record of three CARS Tour wins, ARCA Menards Series victories and a historic zMAX CARS Tour Pro Late Model triumph at age 12.

The debut race will be televised live on FOX at 7:30 p.m. ET, giving viewers a chance to see the next generation of stock‑car talent in action.
