Kevin Knight, the University of Georgia’s Director of Baseball Operations, is in his second season shaping the Bulldogs’ program. Under his guidance the team posted a 17‑game winning streak in 2025, finished 43‑17 and climbed into the national top ten, marking a resurgence that culminated in the school hosting an NCAA Regional for the second consecutive year.
From College to the Pros
Knight’s imprint on the program traces back to his five‑year tenure at Texas Christian University, where he served as Director of Player Personnel and oversaw all technology, analytics and video operations. During that time TCU reached the 2023 College World Series and finished tied for third, a run that helped the program gain national attention.
Before arriving in Athens, Knight spent stints with several professional franchises, including the Texas Rangers, San Diego Padres, Cleveland Indians, Cleveland Browns, Washington Redskins and Washington Wizards, where he applied his expertise in video, scouting and operations across baseball, football and basketball.
