The 910 area code, which stretches across sixteen counties in the Sandhills and southeastern reaches of North Carolina, has become a focal point for high school football enthusiasts as HighSchoolOT releases its 2026 preseason Top 15 rankings.
Early Leaders Emerging
Hoggard, fresh off a 12‑1 campaign in the NCHSAA 8A East, opens the rankings at No. 1, while Jacksonville, also finishing 12‑1 last season, sits in second place.
Behind them, Richmond, Pinecrest and Northside‑Jacksonville occupy the next three slots, creating a top five that showcases a blend of win‑loss records from the previous year.
The list forms part of a broader set of rankings that includes a statewide Top 25 and separate top 15s for each of North Carolina’s six area codes, all presented in partnership with State Employees' Credit Union.
Spanning Bladen, Brunswick, Columbus, Cumberland and surrounding counties, the 910 rankings highlight teams from the 8A East conference and underscore the competitive depth of the region.
