iHeartMedia announced that iHeartRadio will serve as the league’s official audio and radio partner for the 2026 season and the years that follow, weaving its streaming and broadcast assets into every BFL showcase.
The Beach Football League, founded by former NFL linebacker and two‑time Super Bowl champion Tully Banta‑Cain, is billed as the world’s first professional tackle football league played on sand, merging athletic competition with music, celebrity appearances and community initiatives.
The collaboration’s debut took place in California, where the Santa Cruz Beach Classic featured a surprise appearance by Marshawn Lynch, a youth camp led by Deshaun Foster, a drone‑light show and a set by Goapele, while the Fiesta Hermosa Sunset Showdown will showcase NFL legends, live DJs including DJ DSharp and a performance by the hip‑hop group The Pharcyde.
Fans can expect the partnership to roll out further in 2027 with events slated for New England, Miami and Los Angeles, expanding the league’s reach across the country.
iHeart’s branding will appear across radio campaigns, live‑event promotions, social‑media feeds and digital advertising, giving the league a unified sonic identity that resonates with both sports enthusiasts and music lovers.
