Maine Women's Hockey Unveils 2026‑27 Campaign
The University of Maine Women's Hockey Team released its 2026‑27 schedule on September 19, announcing a season opener at home against the University of New Hampshire at 2 p.m. The announcement came just days after the arrival of new head coach Alex Gettens, who was introduced to the program shortly before the schedule was made public.
The schedule features 28 games spread from September 19, 2026, through February 20, 2027, and includes a mix of home and away contests. In addition to the opening series with New Hampshire, the team will host Providence College twice in late October and travel to face opponents such as Minnesota State University, Mankato, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and Boston University.
