Boulder County Boys Soccer Looks Ahead to 2026
The upcoming 2026 season is already generating buzz across Boulder County, where four distinct storylines are shaping the narrative of high school boys soccer.
After nearly two decades under Hardy Kalisher, who retired with a 261‑70‑18 record and two state championships, the program welcomes Quinn Liebmann, a Boulder High alum and former Colorado Player of the Year, who brings experience from Old Dominion and Gonzaga and was a 2014 All‑American.
Liebmann inherits a squad that finished the previous season with a strong regular‑season showing but fell in the quarterfinals, and he will look to blend that experience with new leadership.
Legacy’s Playoff Aftermath
Legacy High School entered the playoffs as the only undefeated regular‑season team last year, only to see its run end in the quarterfinals against Cherokee Trail. Nevertheless, the team returns two of its top scorers, Channing Schmidt and Alex Kaup, along with goalkeeper Noah Grobaski, giving the program a solid foundation for another deep push.
Silver Creek’s Rebuilding Effort
Silver Creek reached the state semifinals a year ago but lost key contributors Kaden Riedel, Rien Pacaro and Ryan Courtney.
