A Season of Celebration
Texas A&M University has unveiled the thematic framework for its 2026 home schedule at Kyle Field, promising a series of game‑day experiences that intertwine tradition, national milestones and campus spirit.
The centerpiece, the Red, White and Blue Game, is slated for September 12 and will kick off at 11 a.m. Central Time. The event commemorates both the 250th anniversary of the United States and the 25th year since the September 11 attacks, while also paying tribute to the armed forces.
A week later, on October 3, the Aggies will host Arkansas in the 150th Anniversary Celebration. The matchup marks a century and a half since the university’s founding in 1876 and will feature in‑game recognitions that highlight key moments in Texas A&M’s history.
Honoring Service and History
Operation Blackout against Tennessee on November 14 invites fans to wear black, creating a sea of darkness under the lights and amplifying the intimidating atmosphere that the Aggies are known for.
The season will close with the Maroon Out rivalry game against Texas on November 27, a tradition that began in 1998 and now unites tens of thousands of supporters in maroon attire for one of college football’s fiercest contests.
Beyond the pageantry, Texas A&M emphasizes community engagement, encouraging alumni and supporters to participate in charitable initiatives tied to each theme, reinforcing the Aggie Code of Honor and the university’s broader mission of service.
