Eastman’s municipal authorities marked the inauguration of three new sports facilities at Parc Normand on July 30, adding a full‑size tennis court, two pickleball courts and a half‑basketball court to the community’s recreational landscape.
Access to the freshly opened venues is now contingent on a reservation made through the Balle Jaune online platform, which requires users to select a time slot and confirm their intent before arrival.
Reservation requirements and usage rules
The municipality has made it clear that prospective players must familiarize themselves with the reservation conditions before booking, and failure to comply may result in denial of entry.
While the new Parc Normand courts operate on a first‑come, first‑served basis after a reservation is confirmed, Eastman already maintains eight complimentary pickleball courts at the adjacent Parc des Sports, open daily from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Those courts are earmarked for the Association Pickleball Eastman from 9 a.m. to noon on weekdays, after which the space reverts to general use, and court turnover occurs at the start of each hour.
Players can borrow paddles from the Circonflexe equipment box located on site, but they are responsible for returning the gear after use, ensuring the equipment remains available for the next user.
Beyond court time, the skating‑rink area within Parc des Sports is also available for rent, offering families and organizers a versatile venue for gatherings, tournaments or other events.
