A Season of Growth
The Falcons endured a tough previous campaign, dropping several games by the slimmest of margins. Those close contests left the squad with a clear understanding of where improvement was needed, a point underscored by Senior Judge Dillow, who said the team took valuable lessons from the adversity.
Head Coach Garrett Amburgey has emphasized that while the win column may not have reflected the effort, the intangible culture within the locker room has grown stronger. He believes that the daily commitment and cohesion built over the offseason will translate into better performances on the field.
Leadership will be anchored by more than ten seniors, each pledging to bring consistent energy and teamwork to every practice and game. Senior Kiefer Widener summed up the mindset, noting that everyone wants to be present and give 100% daily, a sentiment that reflects the squad's collective resolve.
The new season will open on the road, with the Falcons traveling to face John Battle High School in their first test. The matchup promises to be a fresh start, and the team is eager to translate their refined culture into tangible results from the first whistle.
