Sunderland, meanwhile, have endured a winless U.S. tour, losing both of their matches, which adds a layer of intrigue to the Pennsylvania encounter.
The match also serves as a prelude to Wrexham’s first competitive fixture of the season, an EFL Cup tie against Middlesbrough scheduled for next Friday in Teeside.
Manager Phil Parkinson, who has overseen the recent successes, will look to harness the squad’s momentum as the club aims to translate preseason form into a strong league campaign.
