Jack Harrison, the English winger who signed with the New England Revolution in July, has been granted permanent resident status in the United States through a green card and a P‑1 visa, a development that reclassifies him as a domestic player under MLS roster rules.
The club announced that Harrison has inked a long‑term contract that runs through the 2029‑30 season, a deal that not only adds depth to the Revolution’s attacking options but also provides the team with greater flexibility in meeting the league’s domestic player quotas.
Having accrued more than a decade of professional experience across England, Italy and the United States, Harrison brings a résumé that includes stints at Leeds United, Everton, Middlesbrough, Fiorentina and New York City FC, where he amassed 54 goals and 50 assists in over 375 appearances.
His debut is slated for Saturday’s home fixture against the Houston Dynamo at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, a match that will mark the first time the English international can line up as a domestic player for the Revolution.
