The Coast surged to a 10‑3 victory over the Ogden Raptors in Ogden, Utah, capping a 3‑3 series split and securing the milestone win after an opening 17‑9 loss.
Emilio Corona led the offense with a 3‑for‑5 performance, scoring two runs and driving in two RBIs, while Nathan Hemmerling delivered a solid outing that gave the Coast the breathing room to pull away.
Season context
Long Beach finished the Utah road trip at 3‑3, improving to 50‑16 overall and maintaining a 22‑11 record on the road. The team sits atop the league standings, leading the Billings Mustangs by 2.5 games and the Modesto Roadsters by six, with a .758 winning percentage.
