DGM Racing taps Derek Lemke for historic Iowa Speedway debut
DGM Racing has named Derek Lemke as the driver for its inaugural entry in the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series, scheduling him for the HYVEE PERKS 250 at Iowa Speedway on August 8, 2026.
The move places Lemke behind the wheel of the No. 91 Chevrolet, a car that will be backed by a trio of sponsors — Crankshaft Supply, Rack Shack BBQ and Burch Farms — each of which has a longstanding relationship with the driver.
A family affair on the track
Lemke, a veteran of the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series with more than a decade of professional racing, will combine his on‑track skill with the support of his sponsors and the expertise of his team.
Mario Gosselin, owner of DGM Racing, praised Lemke’s blend of versatility and determination, noting that the driver’s background in grassroots short‑track competition has prepared him for the national stage.
Beyond the cockpit, Lemke’s personal life intertwines with the sport: he is married to fellow NASCAR competitor Natalie Decker, and the couple share an 18‑month‑old son, Levi, who watches the races from the grandstands.
