Eastside’s Early Dominance
Eastside struck first, plating three runs in the first two innings and adding five more in the fourth and fifth to build a comfortable cushion. Cole Warner ignited the offense with an RBI single in the first, and Darren Molineux later extended the lead to 2-0 with a run scored on a wild pitch.
Ryan Donnelly, who started on the mound, limited Blue Mountain to two runs over 4.2 innings, while Dillon DiGiulio closed the game with 1.2 shutout innings, allowing just one hit. Eastside’s pitching staff combined for a strong performance that kept Blue Mountain’s comeback attempts at bay.
Blue Mountain’s Fightback Falls Short
