Wasila Diwura‑Soale, a Ghana‑born midfielder who once dazzled the collegiate soccer scene, was recently welcomed into the Bulldog Hall of Fame at Navarro College. The honor, bestowed in 2026, recognizes a career that blended academic rigor with athletic excellence.
During her two seasons with the Bulldogs, Diwura‑Soale appeared in 36 matches and amassed 30 goals alongside 28 assists, numbers that still rank among the program’s most prolific. Her impact helped Navarro secure multiple national tournament berths and left a lasting imprint on the team’s offensive strategy.
International Stages and College Ascendancy
Before arriving in Corsicana, she represented Ghana’s under‑17 side at the 2012 FIFA U‑17 World Cup, contributing to a bronze‑medal finish. She later featured for the senior U‑20 squad in both the 2014 and 2016 World Cups, gaining invaluable experience on the world stage.
