The 2026 Evergreen All-Conference Baseball Team has been released, and the Aberdeen Bobcats celebrated a sweep of first‑team honors. Senior outfielder Aidan Baker, senior infielder Bubba Jones and junior catcher Sam Schreiber were all selected to the league’s first team, highlighting a season of offensive firepower and defensive reliability for the club.
First‑Team Performances
Baker led the Bobcats at the plate with a .350 average, an on‑base percentage of .552 and 13 runs batted in, while also scoring 21 runs. Jones batted .270 and contributed 19 runs, pairing a .961 fielding percentage with just two errors in the outfield. Schreiber, the team’s catcher, posted a .326 average, drove in 19 runs and threw out five would‑be base stealers, catching every inning except two against conference opponents.
Their offensive contributions were complemented by a shared base‑stealing threat, as both Baker and Schreiber logged 17 stolen bases apiece against league foes, underscoring the team’s aggressive baserunning.
Second Team and Honorable Mention
Mylan Bruner and Gabe Matthews earned second‑team recognition, with Bruner batting .273 and adding seven runs and nine RBI, while Matthews posted a .250 average, 10 runs, 10 RBI and 10 walks. Pitcher Tyce Greene received an honorable mention after posting a 1‑1 record, 16.1 innings pitched, a 3.86 ERA and two saves.
Coach Mike Linder praised the selections, noting that the recognitions reflect the depth of talent on the roster and the commitment of the players throughout a demanding schedule.
